One of my all-time favourite desserts is the good old British favourite, Apple Crumble. You really can’t beat it, although I do love apple pie too, now I come to think of it but I think I’ve said that before lol! For this version I switched it up into healing mode, with the addition of spices known for their anti-inflammatory properties – along with some healthy fats. My favourite winter fruits make up the base, although I’m thinking you may want to ring the changes as we move through the seasons. Apple and apricot in the summer maybe? Yes please!
Whether you eat it straight from the oven, or fridge next day this crumble is so good. And if you served with AIP ice cream you’d win yourself some extra deliciousness.
